RVTS is working with the RACGP to provide the Practice Experience Program (PEP).
PEP is a self-directed education program designed to support non-vocationally registered (non-VR) doctors on their journey to RACGP Fellowship.
From 2022 onwards, it will be compulsory for all doctors to complete an RACGP approved program in order to be eligible to sit the RACGP exams.
RVTS can support you through the PEP application process and refer you to RACGP with RVTS as your preferred PEP Provider. RVTS is a national PEP provider - all RACGP locations across Australia are accepted

There are two PEP streams - Standard and Specialist streams. RVTS can assist applicants to determine which stream they are eligible for.
Practice Experience Program – Standard Stream
The PEP is structured in terms. Each term is six months and the program duration can range from one to five terms. The completion of a minimum of five online learning units will be expected per term. Unit activities are largely practice-based. Participants also receive the support of a mentor from their allocated training organisation.
Practice Experience Program – Specialist Stream
For international medical graduates (IMGs) with a recognised overseas specialist qualification who wish to qualify for Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP).
