Congratulations to Dr Lorri Hopkins, deserving recipient of the RACGP Rural Faculty’s Brian Williams Award for 2020.
This prestigious Award acknowledges GPs whose mentoring and support helps rural GPs provide the highest possible standard of care for their patients.
As an RVTS Medical Educator Lorri has designed and delivered skills-based workshop programs to hundreds of rural and remote doctors over the last decade. Lorri goes that extra mile to ensure events have an interactive focus, allowing time for the sharing of personal stories and anecdotes. This, in turn, fosters strong growth and development; her passion for general practice education is evident to all who attend these workshops.
Well done Lorri, this award is great recognition of your dedication to rural general practice and commitment to rural and remote GP training.
