Tell us about your childhood – where did you grow up?
I grew up in Forbes, in country NSW. I lived there with my family until I was 14 years old. From Forbes, we moved to Shoal Bay - country to coast was a big change! My Pop still lives in the neighbouring town of Parkes so we get back there as often as possible throughout the year.
What field did you train in once you left high school?
Hotel management.
What interests do you have outside work?
I love spending time with my husband and little boy Tommy, exploring new places and visiting beaches. I also get a lot of enjoyment out of cooking for others.
Favourite book?

What are some of the countries you have travelled to – and what were your favourite destinations?
I have travelled to New Caledonia, New Zealand and the United States. My favourite destination is still in Australia though – Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays, where I spent five years working.
Tell us about one of the most amusing experiences you’ve had.
I was once on the reality TV program, Ready Steady Cook. Go Capsicums!
